Ar-Rawdhah Ash-Shareefah
Located between the house of the Prophet and his pulpit lies a special place known as Ar-Rawdhah. The Prophet (pbuh) once said, "Between my house and my pulpit is one of the gardens of Paradise." This rectangular area measures 53 cubits, equivalent to 26.5 meters, stretching from the pulpit to the Sacred Chamber. It is adorned with distinct green carpets that differentiate it from the rest of the Mosque. Within Ar-Rawdhah, notable features include the pulpit, the prophetic mihraab (prayer niche), and the pillars known as Al-Asateen.

The Sacred Chamber
This house is where the Prophet, peace be upon him, resided with Aisha bint Abi Bakr al-Siddiq; may Allah be pleased with them. Situated on the southeast side of the Prophet's Mosque, it serves as the final resting place for the Prophet and the two Caliphs, Abu Bakr and Omar. The Sacred Chamber boasts six entrances: the southern, known as the Door of Repentance; the northern, called the Door of Tahajjud; the eastern, named after Fatima; the western, referred to as the Door of the Prophet or the "Door of Delegations"; and finally, two additional doors on either side of the triangular space within the Chamber.

Pulpit of the Prophet
The pulpit served as the platform from which the Prophet (pbuh) delivered his sermons. It measured two cubits, one span, three fingers in length, and one cubit in width. Over time, it underwent development and garnered attention from the Saudi Government. Regarding its significance, the Prophet (pbuh) remarked, "Between my house and my pulpit lies one of the gardens of Paradise."

Mihraab (Prayer Niche)
The mihraab is the designated place for the imam during congregational prayers in the mosque. In the time of the Prophet, no distinct sign set it apart from other parts of the mosque. Ultimately, the area in the mosque where the Prophet (pbuh) stood and led the prayer was called the mihraab. The Prophetic Mihraab is situated in the Ar-Rawdhah Ash-Shareefah, located to the pulpit's left. From this sacred spot, the imam of the Prophet’s Mosque leads the prayers.

Minarets of the Prophet’s Mosque
Omar bin Abdulaziz was the first to construct a minaret at the Prophet's Mosque during maintenance in the reign of Al-Walid bin Abd Al-Malik. He adorned each corner of the Mosque with a minaret. Over time, additional minarets were erected, bringing the current total to 10. This ongoing effort has enhanced the grandeur and significance of the Mosque throughout the ages.
